The summer sun was shining bright as Cloudstaff once again conquered the biggest waterpark in the Philippines — Aqua Planet — for another unforgettable mid-year team building.
When it comes to Cloudstaff events, only the biggest and best will do, so come mid-year party time, Cloudstaff once again exclusively hired out the biggest and best water park in Asia, Aqua Planet.
The two-day event brought the entire Cloudstaff family together from all over the Philippines for one very wet and wild weekend.
Almost 7,000 people attended Splash 2, making it not only the biggest Cloudstaff event ever, but also set a new daily attendance record for Aqua Planet, breaking the previous record set on the water park’s opening day.
Day 1 was booked exclusively for Cloudstaffers and clients, giving them an opportunity to slow down, relax, and become more acquainted with one another, while day two saw family and friends join the party.
As soon as the gates were opened, the energy was already spiking as the Cloudstaffers took on the exhilarating water slides with their colleagues and clients.
There was never a dull moment as the hosts engaged the crowd with humour, games and loads of exciting prizes, as well as many astounding performances by the Jhocson Drumbeaters, Aios, Quatro, Hazelskin, and our very own CS All-stars.
Four teams simultaneously went all out for the H2O challenge – an intense team-building competition that showcased athletic skills, and teamwork as the competing teams tried to emerge victorious. In the end, the Red team dominated the race.
Another highlight of the event was the Hydro Party where the Mr. & Ms. Splash was held. All of the candidates were charming inside and out, but only two can reign supreme and LescL and NicaL won everyone’s hearts on the day.
Of course, a party is never complete without everyone enjoying great food and free-flowing drinks.
For many of the Cloudstaffers and clients, it was their second time at Aqua Planet but the experience was even better this time around.
We asked a few Cloudstaffers about their time at Splash 2 and this is what they had to say:
“Attending CS Splash 2 with my family has been a gigantic splash of unforgettable and thrilling experience. It was a moment of fun and playtime for my kids—having the chance to try a variety of water slides. This was my first time to be a part of such a big event where family and friends are able to share the same level of thrill and excitement. Thanks to Cloudstaff for making this happen. You have bailed me out from my long overdue promise to my kids!” -TolitzC.
“Our family had a great bonding moment at the lazy river and wave pool. The word “happy” is an understatement because I saw in their eyes how happy they were, especially my dad. It was our first family swimming and get-together after he was diagnosed with cancer, To see him enjoying himself normally is the best feeling ever! Thanks Cloudstaff for this opportunity!” – GypsyA.
