CS Cares Bazaar

Volunteers in Action

CS Cares recently conducted a Year-End Bazaar, a fundraising campaign for the group to carry forward their plans the coming year. As part of their service to the underprivileged sector of the society, the group is diligent in sourcing their funds to support their cause continuously.

A famous quote from Sherry Anderson says, “Volunteers are not paid — not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.”

Cloudstaff’s corporate social responsibility arm, CS Cares, envisions a better community and they make that vision come true by reaching out to those people in need. The members are ready to go beyond expected just to reach out to the less fortunate.

The club started in May 2015 and since then it has been able to initiate events like feeding programs, supporting orphanages, and even helping fellow Cloudstaffers who are in critical financial situation. The club is driven by its objectives like organizing activities to uplift local communities, and promoting the welfare of Cloudstaff employees.

Now with 184 current members, the club plans out to execute three big projects for 2018 — raise donations for abandoned children, conduct tree planting activities, and ensuring continuous support to schools and orphanages.

The Year-End Bazaar is one way to raise funds for the club and it was officially launched by a simple ribbon cutting ceremony joined by several Cloudstaffers. There are a variety of items sold such as clothes, delicacies, cosmetics, perfumes, infant stuff, and many other items sold at a fair price. In this way, even non-members can participate in the act of giving by means of patronizing the items sold.

Great job CS Cares Club! Together, let’s make the world a better place through our little acts of generosity.
