The Designers League of Pampanga recently held their UI/UX meetup at Cloudstaff’s Velvet Lounge, and we are very proud to be part of this event.
Designers League of Pampanga (DLP) is a group of more than 200 professionals, students, and even executives who share a common interest in the field of design. It is a branch of Pampanga Developers Group (PDG), a community of ICT professionals and students based in Central Luzon. William and Mary Grace, who are both members of the PDG, formed DLP with the aim of supporting the designers around the region through events, which are a great venue for designers to expand their network and learn from like-minded people.
The Velvet Lounge was jam-packed with attendees from Bulacan, Tarlac, and Pampanga. Some of our internal Creative team were also present at the event, namely Ela, Marpoleryan, and Danielle. They were able to acquire valuable information and have gained insights about UI and UX from the speakers who have outstanding credentials in the field—Micael, Daria, and Jordan. The major topics that were discussed include the definition of UX, wireframing and prototyping, and why UX matters in AI.
We got incredibly positive feedback from the attendees, “I am happy to spend my spare time learning UX/UI from these experts! I am currently a graphic designer with a limited knowledge of UX/UI. With the help of the great speakers from the DLP meetup, I was introduced to the roles, tools, and some tips about UX/UI. It was a big help for my career,” Marpoleryan said.
In the recent UI/UX meetup, Cloudstaff CEO, Lloyd Ernst, stopped by to express his support for DLP, “Cloudstaff is really happy to support this group and gladly offers the use of our facilities and services. It’s really great to be a part of this initiative.”
